This product contains two ingredients, Glucosamine and Chondroitin, substances which play an important role in the formation, repair, and elasticity of cartilage.

Glucosamine helps to lubricate our joints, to halt the degradation of cartilage, to improve the function of our joints and to lessen the pain.

Chondroitin facilitates the flexibility and elasticity of joints, to prevent their fragility and retain moisture in the joints.

Why does Artrinon, a product composed of Glucosamine and Chondroitin, help people with arthritis?

Since a common cause of arthritis is the degradation of joints, nutritional supplements that are composed of Glucosamine and Chondroitin help the regeneration of the joints.

Glucosamine and Chondroitin can help lessen the pain in joints. Unlike many drugs available to treat arthritis pain and inflammation, Glucosamine and Chondroitin have very few side effects.

Although not all studies agree, there is strong evidence indicating that nutritional supplements Glucosamine and Chondroitin are effective for osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. The findings suggest that Glucosamine and Chondroitin provide several benefits for people with osteoarthritis including pain relief. Also, they improve mobility and slow the destruction of the joints when these products are taken systematically by a certain period of time.

Glucosamine and Chondroitin have no known side effects. Anti-inflammatory drugs used for pain, such as Ibuprofen, COX-2 inhibitors, Naproxen and other no steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (AINEs) are useful for alleviating joint pain associated with osteoarthritis, but have unwanted side effects such as gastritis, ulcers, liver swelling and so on.

The degeneration or injury of joints can be difficult to repair. With the passing of time, this degeneration leads to pain, and the swelling can substantially reduce the function of joints. This is what is commonly known as Degenerative Joint Disease (DJD) or osteoarthritis.
